Hollis-7 months

7 months...wow...I feel like 7 months sounds so old, but I still think of Hollis as a baby baby. Clearly she is going to grow up whether we want her to or not and boy is the time flying by!

This month she has learned to not only crawl, but to pull up on things, everything! She literally went from scooting around on her belly one week to literally speed crawling the next (of course this was also the week that the hubs and I went to the Domincan (posts to come)!!!  It is absoutely amazing to watch her maneuver all over the floor and go after a certain toy that she has decided that she wants to play with!
Hollis cut her first 2 teeth the same day believe it or not..the front bottom.  She has really done pretty well with the whole teething thing thus far, but we still have quite a few teeth to go, so fingers crossed!

Hollis is still wearing size 2 diapers and is fitting in pretty much all 6 months clothes, with the exception of pants-she can still wear 3 month pants. :) Our littel petite wonder.

She is deciding that this baby food thing isn't so bad after all and is willing to try more stuff every day.

Her sleeping routine has still been quite good...sleeping 10-12 hours at night. Of course we have those nights where she wakes up with either a bad dream or she's cold or just wants to have a midnight play session , but she is usually good about going back to sleep.
Other times it requires a lot of coffee the next day. :)

And the most important milestone that we have made this month is...we can say mama!!!! Yep, she officially said it on Memorial Day while we were at the Cardwell's house grilling out.
At first I thought I heard her say it but no one else was around and I thought I was just hearing things. But then she said it again while Jess was out there with us and she heard it too!
Music to my ears! (not so much for her da-da though :))

This month has made us so happy to see her personality coming thru more and more.
Again, I don't know what we did to deserve this little spit-fire, but we couldn't be more lucky or in love with our little Hollis Laine! :)
