Hollis-6 months

This was a big month for our little girl...lots of milestones!

This last picture pretty much sums up Hollis at this age...everything goes into her mouth-even her 6 month sticker!
Here are her stats:
HC: 16 1/2 in.
Wt.: 15.8 lbs (25th percentile)
Ht.: 26 in. (25th percentile)
We still have a petite little girl on our hands and we love it!

-We have learned to sit up on our own this month
-we are still wearing size 2 diapers and mostly 3-6 month clothes
-baby food is a little bit more appealing but still not wonderful (yet)
-we are sitting up in the bath tub now and love chewing on our toys-also water doesn't seem to both her in  the least bit
-we are now sleeping in our crib in our room like a big girl! This was by NO MEANS an easy feat but so worth it!  After months of wishing, hoping and praying that Hollis would miraculously love her crib, we were forced to "cry it out".  It was probably one of the hardest things we ahve had to do as parents thus far, but the reward has been priceless! She (and mommy and daddy) are more well rested and we have a much better routine than we have ever had which makes mommy very happy! :)
-Her little personality is coming out even more-she loves to laugh and smile and flirt and is just such a happy baby.

We are so blessed to be the parents of this little pistol and every day I am amazed at all she has learned! Watching her grow is the most amazing, wonderful thing!

Big Brother lovin'

Hollis is absolutely fascinated with Wrigley and everything he does!
No matter how fussy she is, if she sees Wrigley playing or barking, she will immediately start smiling at him.
She is always aware of where he is and he is not usually far away from her either.
He loves her and hates it when she gets upset.  He loves to sniff her and will even try to sneak in little kiss every now and then before we can stop him! :)
A little dog slobber never hurt anyone. :)
I love the relationship they have and can't wait to watch it grow into such a cute little bond!
Melts my heart!

Our little monkey

Lately this has been Hollis' nickname b/c she has developed such a spunky little personality and is of course all over the place!
While she isn't quite crawling yet, she is still very mobile can roll around and out and upside down. :)
No more leaving little one unattended unless she is in her crib or pack n play!

One last roll-War Eagle!!!

Saturday we packed up the babies and headed down to Auburn for the A-Day game.  We wanted to go not only for the babies to experience their first A-Day game but to roll the Toomers trees one last time.

As of today, the Toomer's trees are no longer standing since being poisoned last football season by a fine, upstanding Bammer, so we wanted to make sure that Hollis and all of the other little ones were able to be apart of the orginal Toomers trees experience.

Hollis did so good at the tailgate, the game and Toomer's corner and we are so proud of her and glad we were able to get some pictures that I think will last a lifetime. :)

Ready for AU!
Game Time!
We got really good seats underneath the score board where there was some shade and let me tell you, with a hot sleeping baby on you, that was a blessing!
Miss Priss was tired-shortly after this picture, Hollis fell asleep on me and slept the rest of the game and the entire walk back to the tailgate spot-mama's arms were a burnin'!
Love this pic of my man!
In front of Samford Hall
While we didn't get as close to the trees as I would have liked, the crowd was so large, it just honesly made me nervous having Hollis in a crowd that size, so this was as good as we got!
The hubs got rolled too :)
My buddy

I didn't get any pictures of all of the babies together or any of us with our friends really at all...I guess we were all kind of distracted trying to keep up with everyone, that it just slipped my mind.

Either way, I am so happy we got to take Hollis down to AU, even if she doesn't understand right now, hopefully one day she will be proud to know that she was apart of the last roll of the original Toomer's trees.
It was the perfect day! :)

War Eagle!

Surprise!!!

Friday night we celebrated 3 very special birthdays for 3 very special people-Bethany (29), Jess (30), and Mitchell (31) !
We rented a private room at Rojo and it was great...we had our very own waiter/bartender for the entire evening.
It was a little tricky trying to plan since Matt, Miller and I decided to throw a surprise birthday for them since all 3 of their birthdays are within a week of each other.
While there was some confusion about what "surprise" truly means for some of our friends, it turned out great and everyone had a wonderful time!

Get ready for picture overload!

Life Lately

Where to begin?!
We have just been livin' life and enjoying our precious blue eyed baby girl!
She loves wearing hats!

Life has taken over and hasn't left much room for blogging lately but there are so many precious moments that I want to remember/capture, so I am going to try once more to stay up to date on this here blog.  Here is a glimpse into our lives lately thru pictures (via iphone)...

We are sitting in our high chair now like a big girl!
We love to sit on daddy's shoulders (and pull his hair)
Loves her walker that Nana and Pop bought...hasn't figured out the walking part yet, but loves being able to sit up straight.
Working on Nana and Pop's house-hope to do a little house update soon.
They are moving the end of this month!
