What better way to ring in the big 3-0 than in the Domincan Republic!

Well technically we were all already 30 by the time we got to the Dominican but who's counting.

So a few of us girlies decided taht if we had to turn 30 (really no way around that) than we wanted to do it big! So we packed up the hubby's and made our way to Excellence Punta Cana the 2nd weekend in June for a week of fun in the sun with friends, lots of refreshing adult beverages and plenty of food and laughs to last us a lifetime!

I will spare you our ridiculous story of how we got bumped from our flight down there, got a fat check as compensation (thank you American Airlines) and bumped to 1st class and acted like total 21 year olds and share this picture to sum it all up...

Finally on Domincan soil!

After we finally arrived, we met up with our buddies and went to dinner at the Lobster House and then went to watch a show before calling it a night-it was a long, exhausting day.

Plus, there were drinks to be drunk and suntans to be getting the next day, so we needed to be well rested. :)

The boys seriously didn't plan this...

I'm obviously going to break up our trip into a few posts to avoid anyone losing interest.... :)
