Since my baby girl is about to turn 6 months next week, I thought it would be the perfect time to do her 5 month post, huh?! :)
Obviously I dropped the ball on this one. ;)
This month has been so much fun!
Hollis has developed quite the personality and is so observant about everything going on around her these days. She wants everything that you have in your hands and said things will make a beeline for her mouth shortly afterwards. :)
-She is sitting up so good now all by herself and really likes to "stand" in her walker and jumper too.
-She is still not a fan of any baby food so farr, but has shown some ever-so-slight interest in the Hawaiin Delight and the Apples, sweet potato, carrot and cinnamon combo pouch, so I will take that as progress.
-She is all about toys and playing and laughing and is such a happy baby. She def keeps her Nana busy during the day but I somehow don't think her Nana minds too much. :)
-She loves her Pop and Uncle Matty-she thinks they are too funny, especially when her Uncle Matty "sniffs" her. :)
-She loves to hang out on daddy's shoulders and he makes her laugh all of the time
-She sits up in the bathtub and plays with toys without the sling. She still oves bath time and we can not wait till she starts swim lessons next month!
-She is still in size 1 diapers
-She wears mostly 3-6 months clothes now but is still pretty petite
-Her appetite has picked up quite a bit in the last week so we have been giving her more 6 oz bottles rather than the normal 4 oz.
I will probably say this every month, but I truly don't know what we did in life to be so lucky to have this sassy little bundle of love! She is so much fun and we enjoy every day watching her explore this world with such a pure, innocent outlook and love to see her reactions to everything, big or small.
We love her so much and can't figure out what in the world we ever did before her!
