Memorial Day Weekend Wrap Up

This past weekend was jam packed with everything from a little movie action, to some pool time, to a very interesting wedding, to a wonderful cookout with some good friends...where to start!?

Friday night we were very low key and just had some Mexican food and went to see the Hangover 2!  It was hilarious, but let me be the first to tell you, if you are offended by cursing or male full frontal shots, this is NOT the movie for you.  Of course we knew what to expect and thought it was hilarious and just as good if not better than the first one.

Saturday, the boys went to play golf (of course, who would have guessed it) so some of us girls decided it was way too hot to not be by a pool.  Since my parents pool isn't ready yet, our sweet friend Ben's mom opened up her pool to us so that we wouldn't melt!  Later that evening we grilled out over at Phoenix and Oj's and enjoyed yet another wonderful installment of Just Dance 2...yes we are full blown addicted!

Sunday, our friends Jessie and Stephan got married! They were married at the Holy Cross Holy Catherdral Church downtown was absolutely beautiful.  Sorry no pics of the church.  The ceremony was slightly different than anything I had ever been to before...they are Greek Orthodox, so the entire ceremony was sung by the preacher, everything was done in a series of 3's-the crowning of the bride and groom, walking around the table...oh and did I mention that the ceremony took a little over an hour and we stood the entire time!  Yep, we were really happy to see the reception!

Me and my handsome hubby
Besties!
Haley and Kevin who are getting hitched this Saturday...so excited!
Just a few of the lovely ladies I will be hanging out with this weekend at the wedding!
No, I am not 9 months pregnant even though I was asked that night if I was-nothing can kill a girls morale quicker than being asked how far along you are when you're not preggers!

Memorial Day we went to Bethany and Miller's house in Homewood for a little cookout.  We did it redneck style by hanging out in the driveway on the tailgate, listening to music and enjoying the miserably hot weather before taking a dip in a local pool.
